We want to build our Fellowship in the image of the body and its diversity.
“For as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so also we who are many, are one body in Christ, and each one individually members of one another. (Romans 12: 4-5) “For as the body is one, and there are many members, but all the members of the body, whatever they are, one body, so also Christ? But you are the body of Christ, and his members, each one in particular “(1 Corinthians 12: 12-27)
The Word of God says, “There is one body,” not two, not three, but ONE, only one. This “one body” is the body of Christ (Ephesians 1:23). That is to say that every true Christian is to Christ what the foot, or the hand, the only thing that one can find there is the belonging to the “only body” of Christ, which is formed by the “only Spirit” of God. Thus we strive to live our Fellowship as a divine relationship existing between member, together and in the same way, of the one body of Christ; it is a relationship that God established through the baptism of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2). We enter into this relationship through repentance and the new birth (conversion). And the seal of the Holy Spirit is manifested by the awareness of living in communion that we have and the fruits that it produces: peace between us.
We tell ourselves that the Fellowship is a divine recommendation. We must live it.
